Revert "Remove redundant sqlite-reset calls"
I do not understand why, but I think the removal of the "redundant" reset
statements has broken the database in some way I haven't been able to pin
down. Either writes aren't working, or some reads are returning stale
data. I'm also seeing errors about locked tables :(
This reverts commit 049334e423241426c0eef526eda8818e96f5b3ca.
